So the EVAP leak seems to be completely gone. Now its just the Check Engine for thr 02 sensor. The dealer has ordered the part and will replace it for free. Chrysler did me a favor and called the dealer asking them to cover me even with an expired warranty.
My question is....I cant get in the dealer until next Wed. How long can I run on a bad 02 sensor?

If it's a downstream o2 sensor its nothing to worry about. If it's upstream then it can affect your A/F ratio and cause the engine to run rich/lean which can cause other problems.
Whats the exact code?
Not sure on exact code. However, the Check Gascap just came back on this morning after being off for a week.

What all was replaced again?
Gas cap with a dealer cap that is for my Jeep and year. EVAP canister and EVAP canister sensor. It has been smoked 3 times with all different individuals stating there is no smoke coming out of any part of the Jeep.
It is going in the dealer Tuesday to replace a bad 02 sensor. I am having the guy smoke it and take a look one more time. I will be honest, I am getting really frustrated at this point simply because my inspection is going on 3 months past due, and it is holding up other purchases I would like to make for the XK. I don't want to spend another dime until I know how serious the problem can/will be. I understand how difficult EVAP can be but this is just ridiculous.
Unfortunately I do not have any exact codes but I can try to get them from the dealer Tuesday.
Let me know what happens man. If we have to spend a day and trace every damn line/connection in the evap system we'll get ya fixed up one way or another.
