We will assign a lead vehicle probably myself because I'm familiar with the trails and a trail jeep who brings up the rear with out passing anybody up probably Don because the trail jeep has to be capable and be an experienced off roader because he most likely will only be recoverable from the front. The jeep in front of him should be capable of pulling the trail jeep as well. Then put all the new guys in between putting the least experienced people up front behind the trail jeep. How does that sound to everyone. Troy is the servicing town to Uwharrie, so dialing 911 gets you police and fire from troy (who are familiar with the trails) which is pretty close something we didn't have on some of our adventures. I'm not sure were there hospital or the closest hospital is we will have to look that one up.
Soundss good to me Sal. I guess I'll be up front since I'm a noob, which is fine by me. I'll have tow points front and rear so, you experienced guys can jump in my Jeep to pull someone out if need be.

No one needs to drive your jeep but you bro, thats what spotters are for. The most experienced person on the trail is the spotter, so if something needed to be done with your Jeep your good to drive just trust the spotter which for a noob is a hard thing to do but they can see more than you can.

I hear ya bro, I meant if someone else gets stuck. Since i've never recovered anyone, I would let an experience feller do it. But I will deffinately do it with guidence.

My first recovery was my girlfriends Volvo XC90 in a parking lot. I **** you not the asphalt gave way underneath the front end of her suv (there was a hollow section under the ground) leaving the rear end up and the rear tires almost off the ground. Fortunately I was meeting her for lunch and I always carry my gear bag. After a couple of minutes deciding the best plan she was safely recovered with no damage to the vehicle.

I just got back from SoCal for training and certification in " Meister Refinisher " course for Standox. Standox is a german automotive paint company that is owned by DuPont.

" Standox is recommended by leading carmakers worldwide.

In international car repair business, the global and national approval of refinish paint systems by car makers is becoming more and more important.

Standox has attained more than 40 approvals. That means Standox products meet the quality specifications of the OEM carmakers. These contracted approvals set the standards for various aspects like product systems, trainings, services or color management. Naturally this makes Standox an ideal partner for bodyshops, the carmakers and car dealers around the world.
    Standox the no. 1 worldwide.
From this close cooperation with the car industry, it is Standox customers above all who benefit, be they authorized workshops or independent paintshops.
They can rely on paint systems that satisfy all the necessary requirements and are therefore already able to handle warranty work for the major car manufacturers."

I recieved a pair of Orange County Choppers safety glasses that will be given away at Camp Commander. They will go to the XK that travels the longest distance to the event. Everyone keep track of their mileage.
