Got out for a good ride after work today!
Nice, i rode yesterday bit it was too sandy. When it doesnt rain for a while, it gets too sandy and its hard to ride through.
How do you like those straight bars? I was thinking about swapping mine out for them so i can get a quicker response, just have not put a lot of saddle time to know yet.

I like em.
Honestly... they're the stock bars and i got serious about riding after i got this bike. I haven't had the urge to change even though a few of my riding friends keep telling me to get a set of risers; but i'm comfortable with my riding now so why change? I've been thinking about flipping my stem over though to give me a more race oriented position... there are some times in the twisties that i think it would help.
If you are comfortable the way it is, i wouldn't change it. I'm thinking about changing it to get a quicker response out of it. If you flip your stem it'll make it difficult to overcome obsticles. I'm not saying you won't be able to do log-overs, just going to be a bit more challenging.

Yeah its all give/take. I have no issues with obstacles so I'm willing to give up a little there to get a more race oriented bar position to help whip the front through some tight turns.
If I don't like it, it only takes me 10 minutes to switch it back. Hell I can change it on the trail if needed lol.
