    Just get the optima battery I think you will be surprised by there performance. There also built to be used in the fashion we put things threw off road with all the jarring around and extreme angles. There smaller lighter but more power full then all the other batteries and I didn't think they were priced that much higher either.

    Well AZ was supposed to hold the only Optima they had, but when I got there it was sold. Since I had the duralast Gold that I bought a year ago, they decided to replace it for free - well they did not have the gold in stock but did have the platinum - so I got an upgrade for free..... Better than nothing I suppose and I never had to touch the water pump!

    Hey man i'm pretty sure the platinum is an AGM battery just like Optima..... so it sounds like this worked out perfectly for you!
