Here are pics of mine installed

I used all Grade 8 hard ware and lock tight on the threads. The bolt closest to the front had to be drilled there was no hole and yes I have used them got pulled out on a angle buy a F250 they held up fine.

Always buy new grade 8 hardware. it'll cut down on flying objects.

Mine are mounted in the same holes as Sal's, but the tip of the hook faces down because the ones I used had the spring strap retainer.

The only thing I would do different is get a piece of metal to act as a giant washer that both the bolts would go thew like a backing plate. I'll probably do that when I switch to a shackle setup.

Thanks, it looks like that cap was what I need to remonve so I can see inside the cross member? I just dont want to start taking off body panels on Friday night when I leave at 6:00 on Saturday. Thanks
