Depends on what your definition of "good" is... If you want to start riding (which i highly recommend) then your best bet is really to budget $1000-$1500 and get a "good" used bike.Originally Posted by Core XK

I like to run/hike so I don't see me not enjoying mountain biking. This will have to be in the budget in the future.
EDIT: I didn't realize how much a good bike goes for!
You have some good trails nearby at Neshaminy.... a bike would get good use!

Just a warning.... mod'ing bikes is just as addicting as mod'ing Jeeps!!
