Well 2.5 is the oem exhaust diameter. If you got a 3 inch it wouldnt just weld right in. You would have to do 3 inch exhaust off the rear of the muffler and have some sort or piece prior to the muffler changing it from 2.5 to 3 inch. They make 3 inch cat back exhaust that bolts right to the oem flange if your looking for 3 inch. But like I said if you just want to cut out the oem muffler and weld in a flowmaster you want 2.5 inchOriginally Posted by Matt
